MWDRS Announces New Rules for Pro Junior Dragster

The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series Presented by J&A Service is proud to announce rule changes to the Race Star Wheels Pro Junior class!

Pro Junior will move to a 7.90 index class for 2026, utilizing a pro tree! The juniors will be able to enjoy a heads-up experience with 2 rounds of qualifying on Saturday morning with the main race on saturday night.

In addition, Friday night will not be without Pro Junior action! The MWDRS will give Pro Juniors the opportunity to be a part of a gamblers race, with racers collecting the money themselves.

"I think this is a great opportunity to shake things up and give our Race Star Wheels Pro Juniors some increased action and stakes for the races this year," said Luke Clevenger. "I'm especially looking forward to those saturday qualifying sessions!"

The MWDRS is also removing slammers for Pro Junior, while Zimmerman Sportsman Junior will remain unchanged.
