Mid-West Drag Racing Series

A Statement from MWDRS

We are saddened to hear the news of Speed Promotions Racing cancelling the remainder of the 2025 season of The Outlaws series. Many of the people involved in The Outlaws series are our friends and family, on and off the racetrack.

Losing a series is not just painful to racers, but also to track and fans. "No Prep Kings has been instrumental in attracting millions of fans to Drag Racing and has significantly contributed to the financial stability of many racetracks, including Tulsa Raceway Park, helping them remain operational," said MWDRS Founder Keith Haney "I personally extend my sincere gratitude to each and every one of them for their contributions to the sport I deeply love."

Midwest Drag Racing Drivers that have been a part of the Street Outlaws over the years include Shawn "Murder Nova" Ellington, Kallee Mills, Tina Pierce, and more. Others that have made select appearances at our races through the years include Kye Kelley, Clay Cole, Jeff Lutz, Daddy Dave, Ryan Martin, Robin Roberts, Scott Taylor, Larry Larsen, and more

All are welcome at the Mid-West Drag Racing series, and we can't wait to see what is next for these great racers. Many of the affected drivers may be exploring pro mod series, and the MWDRS would be honored to have them at our next races. For any questions about entry and tech we welcome all new drivers to talk with our Tech Director Josh Scott at (303) 503-0575 or at tech@midwestpromodseries.com
