SAFETY Updates for 2025 MWDRS Season
Attention in the Pits! Attention in the Pits!
Promod and Funny Car need to have the following within rules this season, no exceptions.
All Screw Type C needs to be current SFI cert. One piece suits with current cert. (Pants and jacket will not pass)
ALL door cars with any battery inside the cabin must have it in an NHRA spec box.
Lastly as a matter of safety, all parachutes and fire systems must be armed and ready to deploy when the car rolls into the water box. It doesn't matter the intent of the run. All safety equipment must be ready for deployment during any operation of the car.
Racing begins in 8 WEEKS!!! The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service Texas Nationals hosted at Xtreme Raceway Park kicks off the 2025 Season on April 11-12!!
